Ya, I saw this and thought it strange that they make a quantitative difference between Protestants and Evangelicals. I understand the context, but I just thought it was interesting given that Evangelical was (and still is) basically synonymous with Protestant, hehe. I'm thinking of Karl Barth's Evangelical Theology here;-)
The Catholics going SW thing doesn't surprise me at all, but this did (the first part, not really the second!):
Northern New England has now taken over from the Pacific Northwest as the least religious section of the country, with Vermont, at 34 percent "Nones," leading all other states by a full 9 points.
